Book-level publication

High quality photos, substantial and accurate labels, fast search instrument (Index) make the Borzoi in the Native Land a reference book publication. Every borzoi fancier is able to find information on the present dogs, and also to follow their progress from juniors to veterans, and in different activities: shows, hunt and sports.

Dog shows

Shows coverage features photos of all exhibited dogs: in standing position, zoomed photo of the head and dog in motion. All pictures are provided with precise bilingual labels.

Hunt

This section contains chronicles of Borzoi hunting and field trials.

Kennels

Borzoi in the Native Land publishes extended and detailed articles on kennels, which relate to breeding, kennel's dogs and breeders.

Borzoi in the Past

The magazine contains materials on the Borzoi life in the distant and near-past, such as events of the 19th century, and also shows and trials which took place a couple of years ago. This sections are 'The golden age of Borzoi' and 'Remembering recent events'.

New litters

There is a planned section devoted to new litters which appear during several months predecessing current issue. This section is maintained in order to give information on the most recent activities of breeders and kennels.

Borzoi in Art

This part is dedicated to artists who depict the excellence and nobility of Borzoi.

1/2011 issue features interview with Victor Harrison, an expert judging the 2011 Russian National Show and an article by Peggy Adamson on the breeders' "set of principles".
